Kolkata:
Mohun Bagan “think tank’ is in serious concerns ahead of facing Railway FC in their second Calcutta Football League fixture on Friday. Ansumana Kromah, the man who made all the difference in the first game, picked up a groin injury and is doubtful for the second game. Arch rivals Kingfisher East Bengal had a two-game winning streak and that would certainly put some pressure on the Mariners tomorrow.

Kromah made a match-winning debut for Mohun Bagan and helped his team to snatch a 3-0 win over Southern Samity last week. His injury thus has put some sort of pressure on the Bagan Coach. Kromah spent his time with their Physical Trainer Samiran Nag in the last couple of days and was seen doing light stretching exercises today. Though Bagan coach Shankarlal Chakraborty said, “Kromah got injured because of the heavy ground. Though I’m optimistic that we would be getting his services tomorrow.”

Railway FC too has got some quality players like Saikat Saha Roy, Sukhen Dey and Abhishek Aich and the services of Kromah on the upfront might become immensely important tomorrow. The team though likely to be an unchanged one, unless Kromah sits out. If he eventually fails to play tomorrow, Bagan would be expecting Kamo to step up and show his worth.
