Can Kohli emulate Dhoni in Australia?

XtraTime Web Desk: Team India whitewashed Australia in the three match T20I series in 2016 under the leadership of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Two years later India will aim for an encore under Virat Kohli, who will be leading India in a full series for the first time in Australia.

Kohli was brilliant in the 2016 series as he scored 90 in 55 balls which guided India to a 37- run victory in the first T20I against Australia. Kohli also got two more half centuries in two games.

Earlier, in 2008, under MS Dhoni’s captaincy India suffered a nine-wicket loss at the hands of Aussies in a one-off T20I match.
In 2012, India, under the captaincy of Dhoni, drew the two-match T20 series 1-1.

Now Kohli’s men also have a very good chance as they beat dangerous West Indies 3-0 in the recently concluded T20I series.
