Kolkata: Who will break the record of Sachin Tendukar’s 100 centuries? – That’s been a hot topic in World Cricket but, former India captain Gundappa Viswanath is quite sure that Virat Kohli, current captain of India will break it. in an event in Kolkata he said that, “It’s a matter of time for Virat to break that record and Sachin will be delighted to watch it. That will be a great advertisement for Indian Cricket.”
Virat is now just 29 and already scored 21 centuries in tests’ and 35 in ODIs’ and became the strongest contender to break the record. He is also very successful as a captain.
Viswanath believes MS Dhoni will play in the next World Cup and also very happy how India played in the ongoing South Africa tour. He is also very impressed with Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav as they proved themselves as a strong contender against Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja for the place in first eleven.
