Xtra Time[/caption] Kolkata:  The Working Committee of CAB could not decide over the constitutional amendment following confusion over the clause one-state-one-vote recommended by Lodha Committee. Today the Emergence Working Committee took the decision to take the step of constitutional changes after the step taken by BCCI. It was a very important Working Committee meeting today at CAB where the decision over sending recommendations of constitutional amendments, to the Society Registration Board, was to take place. However, the office bearers of Bengal cricket could not take the risk of doing the amendments their own. Because if there will any violation of the verdict of Supreme Court, the CAB can come under condemn of court. BCCI is yet to take the constitutional amendments following several hazy points. After clarifying they will send the state boards all the directives and then only CAB will amend their constitution too. “We are not going to dodge BCCI in any way. The mail which BCCI had sent to us did not have any directive. Hope the rules will arrive within 9th August when President Anurag Thakur and Secretary Ajay Shirke sits for a discussion with Lodha Panel. After that we will take the final decision”, said CAB joint secretary Avishek Dalmiya. CAB is in confusion over the one-state-one-vote policy too. If the recommendation is to be applied then what will be the fate of the houses who are under CAB without having their own Ranji Trophy playing teams. There is another question. There are 17 clubs- three from police, eight from Universities, one of Kolkata Port Trust, one of Customs and another of Cossipore Guns and Sell Factory. They have already turned associate members. and its a big question that whether these associate members will have any further voting rights or not. However, another decision has been taken for the betterment of Bengal players. Presently they are playing the Dr. K. Thimmappiah Memorial Tournament at Karnataka. After the tournament is completed the team may have a fitness camp under a foreign trainer. According to source, as Sourav Ganguly had a good relation with Indian team former physio Andrew Leipus, Sourav may bring Leipus as their physio  or will request Leipus to send some foreigner for the post. Andrew Leipus is currently the physio of the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and IPL franchisee KKR. Joint secretary of CAB Avishek Dalmia however, said, “There will be a lots of cricket after the season commences in full swing. Prior to that the players should be mentally and physically fit. So the fitness camp is necessary.”
