BWF Brings in Lifetime Bans For Match Fixers And Gamblers

Internet Desk: Badminton World Federation (BWF) has announced lifetime bans for betting or fixing matches as part of a new rule.
According to BWF, if any player,officials and referees fail to report knowledge of illegal betting, to hide evidence or refuse to cooperate with the investigations it will be considered an offense.
Badminton was marred by a match fixing scandal at the 2012 London Olympics where eight players were thrown out of the tournament for fixing charges. Recently Tennis was hit by a match fixing allegations before Australian Open.
