Kolkata: Kolkata giant East Bengal are all set to play a pre-season friendly before the start of the I-League. The Red and Gold brigade would be playing their last game tomorrow against ISL franchisee FC Goa. And as a result the team practiced today ahead of tomorrow’s game.
However Nikhil Poojari is probably out of the entire season as he suffered a ligament damage while playing against Bengaluru FC. Dr. Anata Joshi has advised Pooraji to develop muscle power before the surgery is to be performed.
East Bengal will also be playing against a friendly against Jamshedpur FC on November 10. The team will return on November 4 and then leave for Jamshedpur on 8th.
