Kolkata: It was an auspicious day for Atletico De Kolkata fans forum as they have inaugurated their website and news letter today at a press conference. Many renowned dignitaries like former footballer Debjit Ghosh, Basudeb Mondal ,Kalyan Chaubey former Mount Everest summit achiever Malay Roy and ATK official Subrata Talukder were present in this grand occasion.
Debjit Ghosh stated the media that,”From our childhood either we are an East Bengal or Mohun Bagan or Mohammedan supporter but the ATK fans are a bit different from all of them as they have started loving this team for the name of Kolkata or for Sourav Ganguly or for any other reason and we should thank them for this.”
Kalyan Choubey said,”I am doing commentary since the first season of Hero ISL, I have seen that the broadcasters always wanted ATK to win the inaugural season of the tournament as Atletico De Kolkata’s fan following and viewrship was much higher than any other teams in ISL.”
ATK official Subrata Talukder said,”We have formed this Official ATK fans forum just like Atletico De Madrid fans forum.” He added,”In Spain they sell a percentage of shares to the fans to build a relation between them and the club, in near feature they will do the same with Atletico De Kolkata fans for the development of football and for the betterment of Hero ISL.”.
