Asian Games 2018: Second gold for India in shooting as Rahi Sarnobat wins a nail biter

XtraTime Web Desk: More good news for India as veteran shooter Rahi Sarnobat wins gold for the nation at the Asian Games 2018. This is India’s second gold medal in shooting as she won the prize in Women’s 25m Pistol after a two-round show down today. Another shooter Manu Bhaker finished at sixth position.




Sarnobat also set a new Games record after finishing the final round at a score of 34. Though Naphaswan Yangpaiboon of Thailand gave tough challenge to the Indian shooter, but finally she was able to win gold after a two rounds of nail biting shooting.




She is a veteran shooter of India who won bronze in 2014 Asian Games in Incheon. In the Commonwealth Games, she has also won three medals till date – gold in 2010 and 2014 & silver 2010.
