Internet Desk: In the first ODI of India Vs Australia in Chennai saw Mahendra Singh Dhoni achieving yet another milestone at the Chepauk stadium on September 17.

After the loss of early wickets a brilliant performance of 79 from 88 balls of the batsmen saw him take India to a healthy competitive score of 281. His innings saw him register 66th half-century and his 100th fifty overall in all formats of the game.

MSD built a brilliant partnership with all rounder Hardik Pandya and rescued India from the impending doom which also proved that Chepuak is still Dhoni’s favourite hunting ground.

It has been claimed that Chepauk is Dhoni’s favourite owing to the extraordinary performances for India as well as in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The former Indian has scored 339 runs in just 6 matches with a whooping average of 113 at Chennai. Dhoni has also registered a couple tons along with his lone double century against Australia in 2013.

As far as IPL is concerned, Dhoni led CSK won two league titles in 2010 and 2011 and finished as runners for a havoc 4 times.
