Amna admits to pressure before the Shillong game

Kolkata: Apart from the East Bengal coach Khalid Jamil, the players too agreed that the team was under tremendous pressure before the Shillong Lajong FC match, as the city giants failed to win in their previous two games. However East Bengal thumped Shillong 5-1 to get 3 points in their third game of the tournament.

After scoring his first goal in the game Al Amna was seen in an excited way to celebrate in goal he which he said, “Yes I celebrated in such a way as we were under tremendous pressure before the match. The tears on the eyes of the fans too made me excited so I celebrated in such a manner”

“I am relieved now. Yes a job was much needed’ added Amna.

While Khalid Jamil on being asked as to what instruction did he give to the team before the match said, “yes it was a good victory. No I didn’t say anything in particular. The boys understood their job and did it well”

“I want the entire team to play so that everyone gets a chance. At-last we got three points and everyone played well including Plaza. Everything is good” said Khalid after he was asked on changing 5 starting players from the previous game.

“We played well against Mohun Bagan but in the previous game we lacked concentration’ concluded Khalid Jamil.
