Kolkata: Kolkata giant East bengal today handed their jerseys to their star foreigners Katsumi Yusa and Charles D’Souza at their club tent. Fans were left in a state of dismay when a highly unprofessional conduct was shown from the club. Both the jerseys of Katsumi and Charles had no Numbers printed at the back.

Katsumi who has spent 4 seasons at arch rivals Mohun Bagan arrived at the presentation late by an hour and a half. The Japanese winger claimed that he still has a soft corner for Mohun Bagan however right now his only focus is with his new club.

On being questioned about the club’s interest in signing U17 stars like Jitendra Singh who visited the Red and Gold brigade, club Secretary Kalyan mazumdar said, ” There are a lot of players in the club so certainly there is no need to buy U17 players. If required then we will decide later. ”

“We have left decision of opting the 6th foreigner of the team to our club coach” Mazumdar added when he was questioned as to who would be the last foreigner of the club.

“I know the excitement of derby as I know the situations. I have joined this club  to perform well but my playing position depends on the coach. Plaza has helped me a lot in the training sessions and we are hoping to build a solid partnership for the upcoming tournament” said Charles.
