A Meeting Has Been Called To Discuss About The Floodlight Issue

Kolkata: A meeting has been called at the CAB on Monday to decide the future course of action after the Floodlights got malfunctioned on Saturday during the Bangladesh and New Zealand match. The meeting will start from 2pm.

The iconic stadium was embarrassed on Saturday due to a recurrence of a blackout when one of the four flood light towers went off, delaying the ICC World Twenty20 Super 10 match between New Zealand and Bangladesh by 15 minutes. The meeting will be presided by CAB president Sourav Ganguly. CAB joint secretary Abhishek Dalmia and Subir Ganguly will be present in the meeting alongside treasurer Biswarup Dey, CESC officials, officials of Garuda Brothers Corporation-the company which have provided the Generator, Floodlight engineers.

In this meeting once again it will be discussed why would the floodlight got tripped. The main focus will be to ensure that these things won’t happen further. The meeting was supposed to happen on Sunday but as Sourav is in Delhi the meeting has to be re-scheduled on Monday.
