XtraTime Web Desk: Brazilian star forward Neymar Jr. missed the team’s training session on Monday following an injury knock during their first game of the 2018 FIFA World Cup against Switzerland. The five times champion drew the game 1-1.

Except Neymar; Paulinho and Thiago Silva too didn’t take part in the training session and remained at the hotel. They were in a gym session to recover their physical strength, on the other hand other 20 members joined the traing session in the ground.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar, the world’s most expensive player, was fouled 10 times as Brazil were left frustrated in their 2018 World Cup opener.

Philippe Coutinho gave the pre-tournament favourites the lead in the first half with a long-range strike but Steven Zuber equalised for Switzerland five minutes after the break. Brazil head coach Tite had admitted Neymar was “not 100 per cent” before the match, having both fractured his metatarsal and sprained his ankle in February.

Though Neymar played full 90 minutes against Switzerland but he didn’t look 100% fit on the pitch. The Selecaos will face Costa Rica in a crucial Group E game on Friday.
